Blakely Rock Benefit

#114 heading to Meadow point (when are you going to change that number Tony?)

Trying day out on the water but at least the Sun was out!  We started the race on a very, and I mean very light south westerly.  #26 actually lined up for the start at 10 minutes out just about 6 boat lengths from the pin end, and nailed it. #132 was right there as well and looked to be pulling out strong but as we got into the slower boats that had started before us their wind shadows slowed us down extremely, amazing how big the shadows are when it’s blowing 1 knot.  #124 started low and it paid off for them in the end.  They rounded the rock first and held on to a substantial lead through the finish.  Great to see everyone out again and see Freckelbelly Madtom out after injury and doing well.  Next up is PSSR in two weeks; hope to see all of you there!
